Would have given a 3.5 but rounding it off to 4. The pizza was a bit over done due to which it was not as flavorful as expected. However, the desserts did justice and lived up to the expectation. All the stars are due to the desserts. Skillet is a must try - though I feel they should offer a bigger size as well. The service was a bit delayed though - had to ask for utensils after we had the food, etc. It was definitely crowded but management should assign the manpower accordingly.

D Spot offers a delightful range of treats for all sweet tooth enthusiasts. Their hot drinks and milkshakes are rich and indulgent, perfect for cozying up. The cold drinks are refreshing, while the cakes and desserts are delicious. Their ice cream and waffles creations stand out, and the pancakes are fluffy and satisfying. Went for dinner and was craving something sweet. Most ice cream places were closed so we tried this place for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the decor and setup of the inside. Looking at the outside, you can’t tell at all. We could see the desserts on the counter after they were prepared and the presentation was so great! The service was great also. Quick, friendly and helpful. The staff seemed happy to be there and even joked with us. I told the server I wanted ice cream but wasn’t sure of which flavour and he asked me which ones I was thinking to choose and he brought me a sample of all three! I thought that was amazing. All three flavours were delicious; Blueberry Heaven, Birthday Cake and Hazelnut Crunch. I got a scoop on a waffle cone and the cone was delicious too!! I will definitely be back again for the ice cream and try the other desserts too! The only downfall was the cleanliness of the women’s bathroom. It really needed a cleaning.

Greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in, Shreya our server was fantastic and answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions, served us with a smile and great sense of humour. We got the Day & Night Waffle (Oreo) and the portion was enough to share with my partner. Definitely recommended and we will come back.

I tried the pistachio ice cream at D Spot and it was absolutely amazing; it was rich, creamy, and full of real pistachio flavor. It wasn’t overly sweet, and you could really taste the quality ingredients. Easily one of the best pistachio ice creams I’ve had. We also ordered one of their crepes, and it did not disappoint. The crepe was perfectly thin, soft, and filled with just the right amount of toppings (paired with ice-cream!)! Overall, a great spot for dessert lovers. Highly recommend if you're craving something sweet and well-made.

I tried the red velvet cheesecake waffle and it was amazing: fluffy waffle, rich cream cheese filling, and the perfect amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. The presentation is beautiful too — D Spot puts effort into making every plate Instagram-worthy. The Lotus milkshake is also a must-try; it’s thick, creamy, and full of flavor. If you’re a chocolate lover, you can’t go wrong with their chocolate lava cake — the warm gooey center with vanilla ice cream on the side is pure perfection. One thing I really appreciate is the portion sizes. They’re generous, so you definitely feel like you’re getting value for your money. It’s perfect for sharing if you want to try a few different items. Service is also excellent. Even when it’s busy (which it usually is in the evenings), the staff are friendly, patient, and quick to bring out orders. Everything came fresh and warm, and they checked in to make sure we were enjoying our food. Parking is easy to find since it’s on The Queensway, and the place is well-kept and clean — another plus. Overall, D Spot on The Queensway is a gem. Whether you’re celebrating something, grabbing a late-night treat, or just want to satisfy a sweet tooth, this place delivers every time.
